How to create a report for invoices that have promotional credits applied?

Problem Statement

You want to find or report on invoices that have promotional credits applied. There is no direct UI filter for this.

Solution

Use invoice export or Report Builder in RevenueStory. Filter by entity type "Promotional Credits" in the invoice line items.

Steps to Set It Up

Export invoices

1. Go to Invoice index page > Bulk action > Export invoices CSV.
2. In the zip file, open lineitems.CSV.
3. Filter by entity type = Promotional Credits to see invoices with promotional credits.

Report Builder

In Report Builder, use the Invoices and Invoice Line Items sections. Add a filter for entity type = Promotional Credits under Invoice Line Items.
