What is Day-based proration?

Solution

Chargebee allows you to choose between 2 proration modes (Millisecond-based and Day-based) for your site. This is a site-wide setting that controls how prorated charges and credits are calculated — in calendar days or to millisecond precision.

Go to Settings » Configure Chargebee » Billing LogIQ » Billing & Invoices » Proration Mode and choose Day-based or Millisecond-based.

Important: On your Live Site you can only switch from Millisecond to Day-based proration, we do not allow switching back to a millisecond, you can switch between modes on the test site.
